Arrival by car
We have provided detailed directions for arrival by car to each of the stages.
Arrival to Kirn
Arriving from the north and south via the A61 take either the exit Waldlaubersheim (from the north) or Bad Kreuznach (from the south). After exiting follow the B41 to the first exit Kirn - Ost. At the exit Kirn - Ost turn right onto the Binger Landstraße. After approx. 1.4 km you will reach Kirn.
Arriving from the west, from France or the Benelux countries, via the A1 and the A62 take the exit Birkenfeld. After exiting follow the B41 to the first exit Kirn - West. At the exit Kirn - West turn right onto the L182. At the underpass turn left and follow the Obersteiner Straße to Kirn.
Free parking is available near crossing of Kallenfelser Straße/Berger Weg. Additional car parking with charge on Parkplatz Kiesel.
Arrival to Bundenbach
Arriving from the direction of Köln - Koblenz via the Carbahn A61, take the exit Rheinböllen, continue on the B50 to the exit Flughafen Hahn, follow the road to Rhaunen, then follow the signs to Bundenbach.
Arriving from the direction of Mainz - Ludwigshafen via the Autobahn A61, take the exit Bad-Kreuznach and continue on the B41 to Kirn. In Kirn follow the signs to Rhaunen. You will reach Bundenbach by way of Hahnenbach and Rudolfshaus.
Arriving from the direction of Mannheim, Kaiserslautern via the A6 and A62; from the direction of Paris, Saarbrücken via the A1 or from the direction of Luxemburg, Trier via the A602 and A1, take the exit Birkenfeld and continue on the B41 to Kirn. In Kirn follow the signs to Rhaunen. You will reach Bundenbach by way of Hahnenbach and Rudolfshaus.
Arrival to Simmerbachtal
Arriving from the north or south via theA 61 take the exit Rheinböllen. From there continue on the B50 in the direction of Simmern to the exit Gemünden. From here follow the signs to Gemünden. You will reach Gehlweiler via the B421. Starting point of this stage is the pedestrian bridge across the Kellenbach and is about 2.2 km south.
From the direction Mannheim, Kaiserslautern via the A6 and A62; from the direction of Paris, Saarbrücken via the A1 or from the direction of Luxemburg, Trier via the A602 and A1, take the exit Birkenfeld and continue on B41 and B 421 in the direction of Gemünden to Gehlweiler. Starting point of this stage is the pedestrian bridge across the Kellenbach and is about 2.2 km south of Gehlweiler.
Arrival to Ellerspring
Via the A 61 to the exit Rheinböllen. From here continue on B50 in the direction of Simmern to the exit Riesweiler. Follow the L162/K57 to Tiefenbach. Continue on L108 to the parking area Ellerspring
Arrival to Rheinböllen
Via the A 61 to the exit Rheinböllen. The truckstop is on the L214.
Arrival to Jägerhaus
Arriving from the north or south via the A61 to Bingen. From Bingen via the L214 to Waldalgesheim. There turn onto K29 and continue to the Jägerhaus via the parking areas Bodmannstein and Josefsbrunnen.
Arrival to Start/Finish in Bingen
Arriving from the north and south via the A61 take the exit Bingen-Mitte, B50. Follow the B50 to the junction B9 Bingen-Dietersheim and continue on the B9 to Bingen.
Arriving from the west, from France or the Benelux countries, via the A1 and the A62 take the exit Birkenfeld. After exiting follow the B41 to the Autobahn entrance Bad Kreuznach and onto the A61. Keep in the direction of Köln up to the exit Bingen-Mitte, B50. Follow the B50 to the junction B9 Bingen-Dietersheim and continue on the B9 to Bingen.
Free street parking available at Hafenstraße and Koblenzer Straße in Bingen. Parking space with charge available at Gerbhausstraße (long term tickets).
